duckling, princess or pig boy?

Which fairy tale first comes to mind when you think of HC Andersen? I myself have as many favorite fairy tales as he has written. The Ugly Duckling and the Princess on the Pea as well as the Pigboy are simply not to be missed. Nor is The Fir Tree and The Little Girl with the Brimstones either. And Klods Hans. The Emperor's New Clothes. The nightingale.

The incredible thing is, in fact, that the list of fantastic fairy tales from HC Andersen's hand feels infinitely long, and it is as if there is not one fairy tale that really takes first place. There are just too many good ones. It is quite impressive.
