What is a miniature puzzle?
A miniature puzzle is a puzzle with very small puzzle pieces. The pieces are typically 1-1.5 cm. You put the puzzle together exactly as you put together regular larger puzzles: You can sort the pieces, start with the edge pieces, look for the 4 corner pieces and start with the colors that you think look most exciting. It's a slightly more delicate task, and that's part of what makes a mini puzzle so fun to put together.

Although the name sounds English, it is a Danish design. The woman behind the design is Bettina Cronquist, owner of Butik Box Quiz. Bettina is a mother of 3 girls, married to Bjørn and lives in Helsingør. Bettina has been designing games since 2011 and to date has over 170 different games, including the quizzes Box Quiz, board games, card games and puzzles, for adults and children on her CV.
The idea for the mini puzzles came in 2020, when many new beautiful puzzles appeared, but they were all so big. Bettina loves small games, so it was obvious that the new series of puzzles should be mini puzzles. The collaboration with 8 female international artists is something that Bettina has dreamed of for many years, so with the launch of the puzzles in the Penny Puzzle series, a long-standing dream has come true.
