Every week I have customers in the Puzzle Shop who have given up their felt puzzle mat because it was folded when they opened the box, and then it is almost impossible to put puzzles on it. Some have even thrown it out.
Is that you too?
Such a shame, I'm just saying, because a puzzle mat is so smart. It makes it easy for you to move your puzzle, so you can also eat at your dining table from time to time. Now that's very nice, isn't it?
How to easily remove the fold
1. Place your felt puzzle mat on your ironing board.
2. Wet a tea towel, wring it up and place it on top of the fold of the felt mat.
3. Turn on your iron on medium heat and now iron on top of the damp tea towel so that you steam away the fold in the felt. Carefully experiment with the heat on your iron.
4. Never fold your puzzle mat again, but always store it rolled around the tube when you take a break between your puzzles.
5. Voila! A smooth puzzle mat with no creases.
