In 2019, the puzzle company could celebrate its 100th birthday in England. The company is still in the hands of the same family, and it is now the 4th generation at the helm. Gibsons started by making postcards and playing cards which they supplied to dealers throughout England. Then board games came into the range, and they produced everything themselves in England until World War II. There, their factories were bombed to pieces, so Gibsons had to start all over again. It wasn't until the end of the 1980s that puzzles were added to the range. Today, Gibson works every day to protect the environment while producing millions of puzzles each year.
